Westminster University

The University of Westminster was founded in 1838 as the Royal Polytechnic Institute. It is one of the oldest educational institutions in Britain. The university received a Royal character and was named University of Westminster in 1992. The current Chancellor is Lady Frances Sorrell and Vice-chancellor Dr Peter Bonfield OBE.
